Recently, ZeroZero Technology officially launched the world’s first V-type dual-rotor UAV, the V-Coptr Falcon.

The Falcon breaks through the traditional quad-rotor drone design concept. It houses a very distinctive foldable V-shaped double-rotor structure, coupled with a quite futuristic dark black shell.

At the same time, the Falcon uses a slower rotor tip speed combined with innovatively designed blades to support dual noise reduction, with a much lower sound pollution rate than the traditional quad-rotor UAVs.

In terms of endurance, the Falcon has a flight endurance of up to 50 minutes. The “power efficiency” of the V-type dual-rotor architecture is greatly improved compared to traditional quadrotors models of the same size and load.

In terms of flight experience, the Falcon adopts the rudder surface tilting technology independently developed by ZeroZero. With the support of a non-linear dynamic model design and control algorithm, the Falcon flies quite smoothly; with the ultra-long image transmission distance of 7 kilometers, it can bring the ultimate flying experience to users.

In terms of aerial photography performance, the Falcon is equipped with a three-axis mechanical stabilization gimbal, whose Yaw axis can rotate up to ±80 degrees, effectively improving the stability of in-flight picture filming.

The gimbal uses a 1/2.3-inch 12-megapixel CMOS sensor that can produce 3840×2160@30fps 4K ultra-high-definition video and 4000x3000 12-megapixel photos. Coupled with the newly upgraded intelligent tracking algorithm, advanced VIO (visual-inertial odometer) tech, and visual obstacle avoidance system, as well as the one-key classic lens movement preset in the software. With their assistance, normal users can film blockbuster-grade videos.
