XPeng: Vehicle delivery results for September 2021

On October 1st, XPeng Motors officially announced its September new car delivery data. In September, XPeng Motors delivered a total of 10,412 units, becoming the first company among the new forces to deliver over 10,000 units a month. The Delivery volume in September increased by 44% month-on-month, of which 7,512 units delivered were P7s, maintaining a five consecutive month record high of P7 delivery.

Xiaopeng He stated at the Q2 results presentation, that XPeng Motors expects to deliver 21,500 to 22,500 vehicles in Q3'21, with an annual growth rate of 150.6% to 162.3%. Including the 8,040 new cars delivered by XPeng Motors in July, its Q3 delivery target has been met by 15,254 thus far, and XPeng Motors needs to complete 6,246 to 7,246 vehicle deliveries in September.

The current data shows that the cumulative delivery volume of XPeng Motors from July to September was 25,666 units, and the delivery volume in a single quarter is nearing its delivery volume for the year of 2020. This figure is approximately twice that of Q1’21, and the growth rate of Q2 has reached 48%.

In addition, Xiaopeng He further stated that in the future, a series of measures will be taken to ensure supply, including clearing orders with more advancements, and strategic partnerships with chip and major component companies, while not ruling out the use of investments, and other methods such as establishing a stable joint procurement system with chip companies with the help of the government, etc.
