Xiaomi plans to seize the throne in the European smartphone market
Recently, Jun Lei, Chairman of Xiaomi Group announced the latest development of Xiaomi’s international business.
Jun Lei said that Xiaomi’s international business is progressing rapidly, and it has entered over 90 countries and regions, and currently ranks first in 7 countries.
According to Xiaomi’s Q2’20 financial report, Xiaomi’s current domestic and overseas revenues are basically the same. It is growing rapidly in the European market, ranking among the top three in the market.
According to the report, Samsung currently ranks first in the European smartphone market at 30%, but its market share is shrinking, down 31% year-on-year; Xiaomi ranked third with a market share of 17%, showing an increase year-on-year of 65%.
Xiaomi has surpassed Huawei to become the third-largest mobile phone brand in the European market. Following the release of the overseas version of the Mi 10 series in the first half of this year, which was sought after by European consumers.
Xiaomi released three new “Mi 10T series” models overseas at the end of last month: Mi 10T, Mi 10T Pro, and Mi 10T Lite. In the next few years, Xiaomi will strive for first place in the European market.
