Realme GT Master Edition series introduced
This week, the Realme GT product line announced a new series under the codename “Master”. This new series borrowed the overall design language from sister brand Oppo’s Reno5.
The special feature is that the well-known Japanese designer Naoto Fukasawa, who has worked with Realme in the past, has incorporated life elements into the styling. This time, Master Fukasawa was inspired by a suitcase, and it is claimed to “arouse your urges to go explore the world.” The plain leather back-cover covered with the concave-convex grille is not only visually recognizable but also softer than glass to the touch. The master exploration version will provide two color choices of gray and apricot, while the lower-positioned master version comes only in gray.
In this specification upgrade, the GT Master Discovery Edition is equipped with a Snapdragon 870 processor and a 6.55-inch FHD+ curved AMOLED screen with a hole in the upper left.
A 32MP selfie camera is hidden within that hole. The refresh rate of the panel is 120Hz, the touch report rate is 480Hz, it supports HDR10+, the peak brightness is 1,100 nits, and it provides 10,240-level dimming and DC dimming modes.
Its built-in battery is 4,500mAh and supports 65W wired charging.
As for the GT Master Edition, it will be equipped with a Snapdragon 788G processor and a 120Hz FHD+ flat AMOLED. The device still supports 65W charging.
Its Selfie camera is also 32MP like the Discovery version, and the rear three-camera is composed of a 64MP main camera, 8MP ultra-wide-angle, and 2MP macro cameras, and it also provides a street shooting mode.
