New energy vehicle “Avita E11” released

Changan, Huawei, and CATL issued an official statement this week that the three companies have decided to cooperate in building cars and officially launched a brand of NEV called “Avita”.

At the same time, they launched the first model E11, which houses the world’s leading intelligent electric network co-created by the three companies, the United Automotive Architecture platform CHN (C for Changan, H for Huawei, and N for NingdeShidai aka CATL).

The Avita brand uses mostly Changan brand materials, Huawei, and CATL are responsible for the full-stack smart car solution and the battery solution.

The E11 is equipped with Ningde Shidai battery technology and is supported by Huawei’s HI smart car solution. It is positioned as a pure electric mid-size SUV. The car is about 4.8 meters long and can be regarded as a pure electric version of UNI-K.

In addition, Changan Automobile also launched the first strategic model C385, a new dedicated electric vehicle platform integrating its years of car-making experience and technology.

Changan Automobile also announced that it will launch a new car project codenamed E0, using a new working model co-created by users and partners. It will also deploy in hydrogen energy, electric charging, power exchange, photovoltaic power generation, etc., even involving the field of battery recycling.

It is estimated that the Changan brand will sell 3 million vehicles in 2025, and new energy vehicles will account for 35% of the sales; it is expected that the Changan brand will sell 4.5 million vehicles in 2030, and new energy vehicles will account for 60% of the sales.

In the next five years, Changan Automobile will invest $23.1 billion USD in the entire industry chain to build software and intelligent capabilities.
