Mi Air 2 Pro wireless Bluetooth headset is ready for the world

This week, Xiaomi announced the release of a high-end Mi Air 2 Pro wireless Bluetooth headset.

The headset will provide three modes of noise reduction: active noise + passive noise reduction mode, passive noise reduction mode, and ambient sound mode.

Switching modes are only available during dual ears wearing mode, single ears wearing will automatically be set to transparent mode.

Xiaomi Air 2 Pro noise reduction headset is equipped with a single ear weight of 6.5g, uses feedforward and feedback hybrid digital noise reduction, and its noise reduction strength is 35dB.

In addition, this headset has a 7-hour battery life with noise reduction turned off, and a 5-hour battery life when noise reduction is turned on.

It supports wireless charging, voice wake-up, and transparent mode, with an audio delay of 100 ms, and supports AAC and LHDC decoding.

According to IDC research, in 2019, Xiaomi has become the number one wearable device brand in China and the second in the world. With Samsung, Huawei, and Fitbit ranking third, fourth, and fifth. Among them, Apple ranked first with a market share of 31.7%; Xiaomi has a market share of 12.4%.

In the second quarter of 2020, China’s wearable device market shipments were 26.58 million units, with a year-on-year increase of 4.1%; Huawei ranked first in shipments due to the hot sales of sports watch GT2 and true wireless headset Freebuds 3, with Xiaomi and Apple occupying the second and third place.
