Huawei announced the “VR Glass 6DOF” game set

Recently at the “2020 World Conference on VR Industry”, Huawei shared its latest progress in the VR/AR field with the world.

The HUAWEI VR Glass 6DOF game set is the newly-released emphasized Product of the conference, aiming to continue promoting the VR/AR ecosystem Construction.

It weighs in at 166g, uses an ultra-short-focus optical module, the thickness of its lens barrel is 26.6mm; houses a foldable leg design, and supports 0–700-degree myopia adjustment and 55–71mm pupil distance adaptation.

Furthermore, it offers 3200×1600 resolution, 70/90Hz refresh rate, 90-degree field of view, and 1058PPI, providing the gamer with a more immersive and real game experience, with its excellent vibration feedback.

The package will be available to developers by the end of 2020 and will be available on the market around April 2021.

According to the latest data by IDC, the global AR/VR market-related expenditure will reach $10.6 billion USD by 2020. The long-term prospects are still optimistic despite the impact of the COVID-19 epidemic; IDC predicts that the five-year compound annual growth rate of global AR/VR spending throughout 2019–2024 will be 76.9%, and it will reach $136.9 billion USD by the year 2024.
