DADA Group builds unmanned open delivery platform in China
This week, China’s largest local instant retail and open delivery platform, Dada Express officially released its unmanned delivery open platform, meanwhile announcing that it will join hands with JD Logistics and White Rhino to create an unmanned delivery ecosystem in the instant consumption scenario of supermarkets.
Till date, the unmanned delivery service of Dada Express is the first to achieve normalized applications in the real scenarios of supermarkets such as 7FRESH and Yonghui Superstores. Consumers can place orders through instant retail platforms such as JD Daojia and enjoy the unmanned Delivery “hourly” experience. Dada’s unmanned delivery open platform provides instant delivery orders and operation tools for connected partners to promote the normalization of unmanned delivery applications.
Till date, Dada Express, a subsidiary of Dada Group, has an annual delivery order volume of 1.1 billion, which provides stable and instant delivery orders for unmanned delivery partners connected to the platform.
At the same time, operation management systems such as order management, intelligent dispatching of unmanned vehicles, and human-computer interaction in the open platform can effectively accomplish the digital operation of unmanned vehicles and improve operational efficiency.
Till date, JD Logistics and White Rhino unmanned vehicles have been connected to the open platform of Dada’s unmanned distribution to serve 7FRESH and Yonghui Superstores. The distribution scope covers over 10 communities and has completed over 5,000 unmanned distribution orders, with Auto-driving mileage exceeding 10,000 kilometers.
In addition to the implementation of unmanned delivery in scenarios such as communities and office buildings, with the large-scale application of unmanned vehicles in the future, the reduction of hardware costs, and the gradual opening of the right of way.
